A Thousand Words #3: Fishing Friends

In January 2021 Sydney Harbour was empty, there were no tourists, and people were afraid to leave their homes due to the pandemic.

Yet ... the world persisted. The grass, the trees and the city engaged with each other while the humans hid away.

And... so did friendship. "Fishing Friends" is about companionship, courage and our pastimes during the worst pandemic in 100 years.

"A Thousand Words" is an open-ended series of my best and most personal work. Many of the themes from images in the series made in 2021 relate to the pandemic and the way it changed us (or didn't).
