Oftentimes when people think of NYC, they think of skyscrapers, Central Park, The Empire State Building, and the people, culture, and speed of life. What few overlook is that this is a city of rivers and islands connected by bridges and tunnels. This image highlights just how much water is present in the area. The Hudson River (right side of the frame), was one of the most influential bodies of water in America's developmental years.
