The experience behind this photograph was extremely peaceful and relaxing. I hiked up to this location in the early afternoon, and since it was the middle of the work week in January, I had the place all to myself. The weather was nice, and the sunlight was warm. While waiting for the afternoon light to touch the desert skyline, I found myself a spot along the canyon wall to get in some quality meditation. This was one of those moments in nature that truly felt magical.
