Wavelet Pool #59

The Wavelet Pools series is generatively created by mapping a series of animated RGB Gabor basis functions to a 3D mesh. This combined wavelet process creates a synthesized composition that resembles sound waves generated via additive synthesis. The looping animation of these is produced by offsetting the phase of the sin-waves that produce the color and height of the waves. The original Wavelet Pools were a series of GIFs minted on OpenSea in 2021, and this iteration brings the concept into a generative, live-rendered medium.
