Composition #86: It is what it is #1

These eight pieces are curated from the complete series of 100 works, originally minted on Foundation in May 2023, and are sold with their physical silver gelatin print, framed.
An exploration of the in-between, this series of 100 hand-made Luminograms is an experiment between analogue and digital. These works pay homage to the concrete photography movement, a form that seeks freedom from representation, focusing on the materiality of the medium itself, to create art that is simply itself, in accordance with Max Bense's observation of concrete art as the non-abstract.

The digital art shows the unique original luminogram print, and is connected to an NFT on the ethereum blockchain. The original purchaser of this artwork can claim the physical luminogram on Artfora with payment of shipping costs. Upon resale, the accompanying physical work shall be shipped to the new owner at their cost.
