Napkin Woman emerges from a pale white, carrying an ideal that never truly exists, like a hunger that promises to be satisfied with food, though we know the emptiness will not be filled. The void remains, always with us. And from a napkin, as if from a soiled idea, an unequaled beauty is born.
This emptiness cannot be filled with food or banalities, yet we can try to fill the emptiness of this vase with flowers, and what beautiful flowers they are. Step closer, and you might glimpse my pores, or rather, the pixels that shape my work, this time not digital, but painted, physical.
