The Beelitz Heilstätten near Berlin are a legendary place. There are many stories about this place. Some are true, some are untrue. But the mystical beauty that the former lung sanatorium exudes cannot be denied.
Beautiful old Art Nouveau buildings spread over a huge park area.
I remember roaming the old long corridors in 2012, the echo of my steps and the creaking of the old doors were the only noises I heard.
In one room I discovered this weathered piano. Cotton wool around it. It looked like it was floating on clouds.
It is still one of my favorite photos and the only thing that remained since the hard drive broke in 2015. I have it to this day and will use the proceeds from this piece to repair it ... to bring back my memories
