Ganymede, a satellite of Jupiter and the largest and most massive of the Solar System's moons generate a tremendous amount of heat within its core, keeping much of its subsurface crust in liquid volcanic form.
The hostile environment requires high resilience form of exobiology to grow on its surface. This extreme hostile environment is the home of the Burning Heart Dicentra, a silica based plant which evolved to grow deep under the surface within the frozen subsurface tunnels. The plant absorbs heat and emit powerful light and magnetic energy through its core stem and flowers.
