In 2019 a friend & I decided to take a chance to travel from NYC to Yosemite National Park on President's weekend. We chose this weekend because it fell inside the small window of opportunity to capture Firefall. This spectacular sight is only viewable for roughly 2-3 weeks per year, and that is all dependent if the ice & snow melt on top of the mountain is enough to create a flow over the falls.
This is one of images I captured - a "Fiery Tail" of water flow that lasted only a few minutes.
