Momentum

Can fog tumble down a mountain? Does it have enough weight and momentum to keep sliding, catching on occasional Redwood trees and grasping briefly at branches before continuing downwards to the forest floor? Does it pile there, or spread out in a pool? Can it climb back up, or is it a one-way trip to the bottom?
