As an immigrant father exploring identity and history in a new country I have become fascinated by the mechanics of dealing with the past in changeable ways. Building new photographic technology has offered me a way to play with time in a plastic-like state.
The materials in these images are sourced from the construction of a house, a stage for shifting history and memory, where the past is shaped into new stories, histories and identity.
