In this artwork, I pay homage to William Gibson's Neuromancer which shaped my perception of reality in so many ways.
The artwork portrays Molly, Case, and Dixie Flatline ROM construct interacting with Tessier-Ashpool clan Wintermute AI.
"..Case and Molly could feel the Dixie Flatline's presence, a construct, a hardwired ROM cassette replicating a dead man's skills, obsessions, kneejerk responses. It was disturbing to think of the Flatline as a personality, as a construct that had taken the place of the boy he'd been, sixteen years ago, but the personality was nothing if not convincing. And Case had only seen the construct operate on an abstract level, shredding Chinese software, melting down system core data.
They jacked in together, Molly and the Flatline, and she'd never worked so fast, so coherently, in her life. It was like watching someone juggle a dozen flaming chainsaws while dancing a tango, but finessing it, and she'd wanted it to go on forever. They'd braced themselves for the moment of transition, but it was a futile exercise. The dance continued, unstoppable, and Molly knew with a sinking feeling that it would never end. They were part of Wintermute now."
