This is my Genesis NFT piece. I chose this piece because it captures the optimism and energy of this moment of crypto revolution, and the beginning of a digital art renaissance. The Superrare community is at the forefront of this historic paradigm shift. At this very moment, $ETH reaches ATH. I believe we are creating a new digital, decentralized civilization.
I am the founder of the Techism movement (my 2014 manifesto is online). I believe Art + technology can be good for us—to uplift and enlighten humanity. Art on screens can heal and this has been my intention since I created my thesis in 2013.
Meditation is scientifically proven to improve our well-being, and as a meditator, I started a journey creating visceral, meditative, healing art using the light emitting from our digital screens as a medium. I want to create a digital experience of meditation and healing. I am on a mission to help us heal through the power of art. Our world needs it, and the pandemic has made it very clear.
This year, I have teamed up with guitarist Jeff Shroeder of the Smashing Pumpkins to create a world tour called “Continuum”: live public meditative art and sound installations for All. We launch this year in Venice, Toronto, Miami and the world. A VR release will be announced soon.
