In the early 1940s, a group of brilliant scientists gathered at a fancy dinner party in Manhattan to discuss their latest inventions.

Suddenly, a physicist named Albert Einstein, had an idea. "What if we could release the energy stored in an atom?" he said.

The other guests were intrigued, and soon started brainstorming. They talked about splitting atoms, creating chain reactions, and harnessing the power of nuclear fission.

At one point, J. Robert Oppenheimer got so excited that he accidentally swallowed a piece of steak and started choking.

One of the guests, a doctor named Henry Heimlich, quickly performed a safety maneuver, dislodging the steak and saving his life. As Oppenheimer's life was saved, however, a mushroom cloud shaped explosion rocked the restaurant. They unknowingly invented the atomic bomb.

The rest, as they say, is history. The atomic bomb was eventually built and used in World War II, changing the course of history forever.

With the development of AI-assisted photography, we are now able to recreate historical events and characters using AI tools as our “time machine.” This collection has been created to interpret history through the lens of my imagination.

As Napoleon once said, “History is a set of lies, agreed upon.” Welcome to the past.
