Artist Bio
When you see a Zhuk painting, there’s no mistaking it for anyone else’s work. The artist’s style has become a staple of Web3 over the last years, injecting a digital-heavy NFT space with some refreshingly ancient aesthetics. A third-generation family artist, Zhuk brings a uniquely modern lens to classical figurative painting, often depicting the human body as if suspended in water or viewed in a dreamy, flow-like state. This approach allows her to play with shape, contrast, and color in fascinating ways.
Zhuk participated in the 59th Venice Biennale with a physical art installation. She has also exhibited her works at the Dart Dynamic Art Museum, alongside masterpieces by Caravaggio, Guercino, Sebastiano Ricci, and others. Her art has been featured at the renowned auction house Sotheby’s, a notable achievement for any artist. Zhuk has collaborated with and exhibited alongside the Royal House of Medici. She also took part in the first-ever global NFT exhibition, organized by “VINCI Airports,” which took place simultaneously across more than 20 major airports worldwide. In 2022, she exhibited at Art Basel Miami. These achievements led to her being recognized among the 2023 NFT100. Zhuk had the honor of collaborating with TIME Magazine on the “Slices of Time” project, as well as having her painting published in the print issue. Her works have repeatedly been featured on billboards in Times Square, New York.
