SKATING THROUGH VERSAILLES

They skated through Versailles, a glitched remnant of the past but now mere virtual ghosts. A flash of abstract purple and a few neon buttons made it easy to glide through those gilded halls of opulence with them. Somewhere, the code for Virtual Versailles had picked up a reference to Sir Henry Raeburn's "The Skating Minister," mingled with red lipstick and haute couture, but it wasn't an unpleasant experience. You just had to leave your common sense at the door and skate into their glitched world.
