An Uncle's Tale is born through the use of a system of symbols, typically self-referential, where geometric elements and organic forms are combined. With this painting, I aim to delve into supposed areas of imagination linked to moments of transition between the material and the spiritual. To achieve this, I draw from an endless array of elements, both from records associated with modern art and fragments of my own gestures. In this artwork I took inspiration from some works by Bosch, which I reinterpreted both analogically and digitally (without the use of AI). Through the combination of physical painting and the use of digital tools, I abstract forms, colors, and symbols, proposing a new visual narrative. My goal is to transform the visual and conceptual experience of the original work using technology as a substitute for traditional materials. Images, characters, and symbols disintegrate, merge, and transform as much as their meanings. As a female artist, I find it interesting to seize the opportunity to appropriate works of great masters from a time when the study of painting was denied to women, giving them my own touch. The result of this process is a complex composition where geometric and organic forms predominate, using pictorial techniques such as spray, airbrush, and digital resources typical of the present day. In this way, I invite reflection on the evolution of society, spirituality, and the human condition in the contemporary era.
