On Friday, June 13th, 2025, Nuclear Samurai launched X FIGURES on Opensea—a 404-piece collection reimagining the CC0 works of XCOPY as collectible toys.
These interpretations were never meant to perfectly match XCOPY’s own vision. His glitchy, abstract, and expressive style leaves plenty of room for imagination, giving Nuclear Samurai space to inject personal ideas and instincts into each figure.
This project wasn’t about recreating XCOPY’s art exactly; it was about capturing the feeling of each image and creating something new in response.
