For this portrait I used an old photo of Ross, I hardened the subject's traits and represented them leaner to make him closer to his current condition. Even the look is saddened and generally more introspective to underline his state of imprisonment. The background represents the fence of a prison structure that seems to be impenetrable, the color palette of the background refers to the colors used for the face. In one point of the fence there is a gap from which you can see a glimpse of the sky suggesting the possibility of a way out.
