Strabismus are magic eye visions in motion. A digital-analog video art series by Sarah Zucker / @thesarahshow.

Strabismus channels flat digital video synthesis through analog interlacing distortions to conjure Depth out of Time. Each work in the series conveys the artist’s unique experience of depth – no crossed eyes required.

This infinitely looping artwork may be viewed vertically or horizontally or cropped – each viewpoint allows for new facets to emerge.

Each work has been hand generated by the artist through a digital-analog system, recorded on VHS and digitally transferred in 1080p. Editioned in .mp4 format.
