SURFACE series is taking its next step into a digital only pieces with the first piece in the collection, Time Dilation allowing the algorithm to go wild with colors and distortions. The new code in this piece was created to deliver color fringing, and spherochromatism, a common optical phenomenon that occurs when a lens cannot bring all wavelengths of light to a single converging point. Both the color code and the objects on the canvas attempting to showcase time dilation, mimicking how time moves slower for an observer who is in motion relative to another observer.
