Pattern Mixer is an audiovisual piece that generates dynamic interference patterns by superimposing four simple black-and-white line patterns and low-frequency signals. Each corner pattern varies in orientation and scale, with its changing state visualized by animated signal indicators and represented sonically through low-frequency oscillations. The central display shows a real-time capture of the resulting interference field. Sonic interactions between dissonant frequencies produce evolving interference patterns, rhythmic fluctuations, and emergent feedback textures. Created using custom shaders, digital drawing, and sound synthesis, the work presents both the source material and the resulting output generated through real-time interaction, integrating the generative process as a part of the composition.
