Finding myself in a new city dealing with the prosaic that comes after weeks of grief, isolation, and no social structure to fall back on I had no choice but to become enthralled with expressing what I lacked the words to say and company to listen. Using color, composition, sub-framing I was able to create a piece that divided the frame between cool and warm, expressing the disconnect between the world and my quiet apartment where I have trapped myself.
