The OG Pepe Traders
Plasm0 Foundation
In the mid 1900s, a group of eccentric street vendors in Bali began selling small, handmade figurines of a frog they called "Pepe." These figurines, with their wide eyes and mischievous grins, quickly became a popular item among locals and tourists alike. As the years went on, the tradition of selling Pepe figurines was passed down through generations of vendors, but little did anyone realize just how valuable these little frogs would become. Today, the rarest Pepe figurines can fetch prices in the tens of thousands of dollars, and collectors from all over the world travel to Bali in search of the elusive frog. The vendors, of course, still sell their Pepe figurines on the streets of Bali, but now they do so with a newfound appreciation for their rare, magical creations.
