Breaking new ground as the first artist to integrate yats as an integral component of the artwork, Skye Nicolas offers an extensive collection of yat art editions. This epic collection is comprised of a total of fifty individual yat artworks, minted in highly limited editions.
Each collectible piece features a yat: a unique combination of emojis that function as a domain, pointing to a galaxy of online content: videos, articles, web pages, and on occasion mystery files and assets; resembling memory fragments, as if unlocking the artist’s stream of consciousness.
This innovative use of yats as an interactive element to the artwork, not only typifies Nicolas’ exploration of new digital media as a medium, but also delineates his pioneering development of the artform.
