"Error's Elegance" represents a significant milestone in my decade-long exploration of glitch art's transformative power. Originally conceived as an entry for the #ClaireAIContest, this piece has evolved into a standalone testament to the intersection of human creativity and AI innovation.
This multi-layered creation began with two custom AI models trained on my personal glitch art archive - one focused on scanner glitches for the background, the other on 3D glitches for foreground elements. Eden.Art provided the initial platform for this AI-driven exploration. The outputs were refined through iterative AI modeling, using both original source material and AI interpretations. These refined elements then served as reference for Midjourney, where the final composition took shape.
The artwork's journey included an animated version on Krea, depicting a figure emerging from and dissolving into the glitchy canvas. While visually striking, this led to further experimentation. A fragment of the original collage was transformed into a 3D model using 3DAIstudio, then reintegrated into the 2D composition within a 3D environment. Final touches with colorThief and Lightroom enhanced the piece's depth and vibrancy.
