Growing up, I always looked forward to watching the Major League Baseball home run derby every summer. One player that always stood out to me was Ken Griffey Jr, with his beautiful swing and signature backwards Seattle Mariners hat.
One day, as I was exploring on the ferry shooting some photos, I came across a passenger sitting with headphones on over a backwards throwback Mariners hat, looking out through the rain drops on the window to his right. Seeing the throwback hat immediately took me back to those youthful summer days, admiring Ken Griffey Jr. on television.
It doesn’t get much more “Seattle” than this. Please enjoy, “Throwback”.
