Year VII - Daybreak

Year VII - This year was the last year I lived in the NYC metropolitan area. With a cross-country just 2 weeks away, and my first book about to go to print, this would be the last sunrise flight I would do before all that came to be. This image was taken as part of a YouTube series I did for Canon. The first project that would eventually be the catalyst for my aerial media company - Back Left Media. This was a momentous opportunity for me professionally, but simultaneously extremely bittersweet. I remember taking time on this flight just to soak it all in. There is nothing better than New York City at sunrise. I've said that for years, and still stan by that to this day.
