Year IX I had an awakening of sorts. I had spent the last 8 years establishing my style, my vision, my techniques to capturing the light and showcasing the overall grandeur of New York. This year I focused on finding unseen frames. More intimate frames that showed the complexity of New York. Where in one frame the architecture could span over 100 years worth of buildings. I focused on shooting across the city and through multiple neighborhoods all while keeping a subjectively accessible landmark in the frame. This year felt like a new chapter, and the beginning of a new way to capture the city from above.
