A Dance of Protection and Vulnerability
Guardian Angel is a deeply personal work for me. It explores the tension between protection and fragility, between the divine and the human. The angel, both strong and vulnerable, leans over a fallen figure—embodying the emotional weight of caring for another.
My expressive brushstrokes reflect the chaos and beauty of life, blurring the lines between body, spirit, and space. Red flowers suggest both life and sacrifice, while shadowy backgrounds hint at mortality and struggle.
This work is about connection—between protector and protected, viewer and subject, artist and emotion. To me, it’s a meditation on what it means to care, to witness suffering, and still choose to protect.
