Based on the famous bhavacakra images found in Buddhist monasteries mainly in Tibet and India, the image represents, among many things, the cycle of existence and is a synthesis of the main Buddhist teachings, among them Death, Life, Karma, Reincarnation and Liberation. Everything is fleeting and the wheel always turns, and only spiritual enlightenment can free the soul from the eternal cycle of illusion.
