Heterochromia, having two differently coloured eyes seemed to be a curse when Kya was younger. Kids teased her, people were unkind.

Only later did she realise that diversity really is the spice of life, that nature made her special and as Kya began to embrace her unique gift, the possibilities of happiness and success became endless.... as endless as her deep, wonderful galaxy eyes, as endless as space itself, Kya’s dreams and visions, her creativity and ambitions became infinite. As she grew confident in her uniqueness, Kya started to attract all she deserved, people who loved her, a brilliant mind full of wonder, happiness around everycorner.

Today Kya embraces everything she is and everything she has. Her eyes tell stories of resilience, pride and beauty and she smiles at the story her gran once told her “Kya means Diamond in the Sky!”...what a fitting blessing of a name for the girl with the galaxy eyes!
