Orca is one of the farthest remote Earth-like exoplanets ever discovered and colonized. The planet is located at the center of a small solar system orbiting Melnick 34, a binary Wolf–Rayet star, deep within the Magellanic Cloud, 163,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Dorado. Orca is dark, cold and known for its extremely stormy atmosphere.
Terraforming may be the only way to ever bring true and diverse life to this planet. The current conditions are far too extreme for most complex lifeforms, but with the right technologies, evolved life could be introduced. The planet has plenty of resources to allow for these constructions to start and the colony has plans for terraforming in the coming few decades.
Basic life forms are the only thing you'll find in this planet's underwater world. Seaweeds, algae, and a few dozen soft corals are scattered in particular areas of this world, while everything else is eerily empty.
