Yosemite Falls is a composition I had on my bucket list for quite some time. In June of 2020, I visited Yosemite by myself to get out of the house and find some inspiration to create again. The lockdown was starting to weigh on me pretty heavily, so I snagged a reservation, and planned a day trip.
There was limited access to the park during this time to minimize crowds, which was really amazing. Yosemite can feel like Disneyland in the Summer due to the massive crowds that pour into the park.
This shot is very special to me because it signified major growth for me as a photographer. Yosemite represents a place where I really learned a ton about myself and my camera. I knew as soon as I shot this one that it would be one of my all time favorite shots.
