She found solace in the corners of rooms where light hardly reached and truths were elusive. It was in such a corner that she discovered the rift – an aperture that disrupted the very notion of up and down. Mara approached the anomaly with cold deliberation, the stark sunlight casting a geometric spotlight that seemed to invite her in.

With the world inverted, she pondered: was she the one defying gravity, or had the world subtly shifted, leaving her as the sole bastion of what was ‘normal’?

As she hung there, suspended and serene, Mara understood the lure of the overlooked, the hidden wonders that existed in these interspaces where one could escape, even for a moment, the mundanity of the expected world below.
