Each twirl and extension was a whisper, a subtle gesture addressing the encircling congregation of bones and metal.

The air was stale with the scent of oil and rust, yet her performance imbued it with an otherworldly fragrance, as though the essence of a forgotten sea swept through the nave. It was not merely a dance. It was an offering—pure, silent, and as poignant as the memories caught in the gaunt faces of the sailors depicted by weathered skulls.
