I wanted to select a piece everyone could relate to. For me, the events that took place were a huge hit for everything I had been working for throughout my time as an artist. For the weeks following the events of May, I decided to channel that energy into creating pieces that would remind me to never forget and to the events that occurred as a lesson to play things safe. I hope we don't forget those moments so that we never make the same mistakes once again.
