Mermelhu was worshipped as a sub-deity in many cosmologies and contexts. Often crudely hewn from wood or rock crystal, to gaze on their multi-eyed unfathomableness, even in votive form, was to be simultaneously awestruck and cast out from the complacency of Euclidean geometry.
