'fluid fractals | genesis' is the first work in a series that explores the blurred and diminishing lines between natural and manufactured worlds. In a time where digital and physical life have become so enmeshed, this work pays homage to the unfolding union of the two.
Original photographs of ice crystal formations on window panes are digitally manipulated to a point beyond recognition that leaves an intriguing output for subjective interpretation by the viewer. Infinite possibilities; just as with ice crystal formations, and life as we know it.
This piece is called 'fluid fractals | genesis' as it is not only the first work in this series, but also the first NFT from JYO, who has been building tools for artists with blockchain and IoT since late 2016, and blurring lines and worlds as an accomplished interdisciplinary artist for many years.
