I am shame, grief, and guilt.
I am lies, deceit, and regret.
I am hidden in the back.
I wear masks to hide my sunken, hollow face, so tonight is no different.
I want a beautiful mask but that too would be a lie.
Sometimes its all very bleak, tonight less so.
The Masquerade has me searching within my soul.
