Feels quite uncontrolled to me - the suffering of those on the ground, next to stockpiles of fruits, veg, and meats contrasting those up in the trees, swinging from branch to branch. The most controlled part is the 2 white, calm center figures.

I have delved into fear and fun, represented in both artworks, with the fun of the adolescents and fear of the elders emerging.
