With my mask on my shoulder I can see the canopy clearly. Is this really all there is for me? The sun sneaks through a gap in the leaves while we struggle. They say you can find a light in the dark anywhere but I never expected it to be here. With the light hitting my face I feel renewed. I can see it clearly, all of our stories now intertwined forever. A tangle of bodies and masks weaving themselves into one form. A memory. I still wonder. Was it fate that led me here? Does the mask block my vision?

We are not yet completely blind; we can still see without the mask.

The inability to see the full picture of something can create thoughts that wouldn't have existed otherwise. The mask can block your vision, so if you want to view the whole truth you'll need to keep it off your face. Did the mask create those thoughts?

Notice how he isn't wearing the mask? If this powerful wanderer is now wanting to see clearly, what's out there? Is it whatever awaits us above the canopy? It's rather bright up there from the sun, I bet you could see for miles. We'll have to wait.

The mask blocks my vision. But I deny my masked self's ability to see at all when I remove it. Are we truly different people?
