Observation
The False Hand
Power, Illusion, Choice
Above the Masquerade, he swings calm, untouchable. Below, they reach, believing he holds what they need. He drops hearts like trinkets.
But he is no god. He does not create, only decides who receives.
The Tree gives freely, yet none reach for it. They mistake his hand for generosity, never questioning the source.
If all hearts come from above, none are truly their own.
Perhaps the Luminate Mask belongs not to the blind, but to the one who changes the game.
Response 1
In the Kingdom of the Included, words don’t just survive, they carve themselves into history, refusing to be forgotten. The scholar and the scribe may use different tools, but the act is the same: to etch meaning into something that outlives them.
Response 2
Is it a man running, or roots pulling him back?
Maybe escape isn’t as simple as just leaving
Response 3
The False Hand gives, but only to those who reach.
Maybe stepping away isn’t exclusion, it’s clarity.
Revision
The story is told, but the lore is buried. The illusion holds until one looks down and finds power was never above. I see it now
