Observation
Sometimes I feel like I am hiding behind the mask, trying not to be found out—pretending to be what I want, but not what I am. The drive to not want to be found creates the push to become: learn, study, observe. Create what I want to be. Fit in with everything so foreign… as long as the mask doesn’t come off too soon.
Be who you want to be, free and bare. In this world, if you can wear the right mask and play the right part, the stage can be whatever you want.
What mask have you been wearing?
Response 1
find comfort in this incredible image. This is life, after all. The good, the bad, and every strange, chaotic, beautiful thing in between. If you’re open to it, there are pockets of joy waiting to be found. Be kind. Stay positive.
Response 2
My Bloodless Brother, I am allergic to nothing. However, please sit at the other end of the table shall we ever meet.
Response 3
My children, as you peel away the veil of naivety it will bring wisdom along with the weight of understanding. I will guide you and help you carry that weight with my strength so you never have to bear it alone.
Revision
Wear the mask long enough, and it becomes you. Desire shapes identity—no longer a disguise, but the life you wanted made real.
