Observation
In an age before the forgetting, when words were inked onto trembling parchment, a scholar sat beneath the gnarled limbs of an ancient tree, tracing the lines of a book that had outlived empires. Though fire had swallowed cities and water had unmade kingdoms, the letters endured, whispering their truths to any who would listen. Yet in this twilight of ages, a new scribe arose—not with quill and vellum, but with an invisible chisel, etching words onto the stone of the infinite ledger.

The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
Keep searching for the light in dark corners of the world.
Response 2
I placed my observation directly behind yours. Why, I don’t know.
But it gives me time to reflect. Etching in stone a message instead;
I miss you, Ben. You left this world too soon. Your Mask is one of kindness and humor. Wear it well.
Your brother

Ink is a chisel upon time’s stone, carving Ben’s name so he lives beyond flesh—unfading, unbroken, forever remembered. Unmasked.
