Observation
In a forest naked, afraid, for a home, a pact was made, 613 laws: 1 for each heart.
On klifat etz, we etched each creed:
Vow, Truth, Sacred Seed, Sin, Sorrow, Personal need.
We shaped a glade, wove in care,
But open sky left us bare.
From ilan, we cut 3 holes: 2 for sight, 1 for soul.
Rules concealed, masked in lies, A cipher formed where memory dies.
The glade sank deep, the swamp rose,
Yet on we danced in tangled prose.
Revels drowned the past in cheer,
new life made -
Unmasked, Unchained from fear!
Response 1
I shall transform this shallow observation into a clever game. No matter how many play there can be only one winner.
The last reply to this observation wins the mask of clever.
Response 2
The directors of the firm hired to continue the discourse after the other people had been sacked, wish it to be known that they have just been sacked. The replies have been completed in an entirely different style and at great expense and last minute.
-P.
Response 3
How did they guide you to become a better man?
"Rhetoric may be defined as the faculty of observing in any given case the available means of persuasion. This is not a function of any other art."
-Aristotle
Revision
“The written word
Like a stone pillar
May last for centuries
Even if its meaning is forgotten.”
How long will this meaning hold?
