Observation
Everyone wears a mask—mine’s old—hiding fear, shame, longing, kindness, sadness, envy, guilt, joy, love.
Here, masks on or off, people gamble or conspire, money scores.
Money doesn’t create emotions but tries to corrupt them, it's always lurking. I fight to keep it out, often lose, always trying to fight harder. Masked, I lack compassion.
Money consumes us —how much for a mask? What's a soul worth. Money is a necessary evil, corrupting.
Young, uncorrupted—may it always stay that way, little one.
Response 1
Will you sell this mask of yours, trading it for a quick escape from the Den’s stakes? Or will you keep it, clutching it as a piece of what still matters, a defiant stand against the corruption of money and greed?
Response 2
The Gambler's Den sets a grim stage. Someone's lifted another's words, timestamps glaring like a dealer's marked deck. Swiping insight from the shadows, without effort, avoiding the challenge. No honor among thieves here. The mask corrupts.
Response 3
We are in the Gambler's Den. With our masks on we boldly chase coins. Why are you here bearing witness to the masquerade? Do you demand a return, do we all demand a return? Stripped of our masks do we like what we see?
Revision
A Player I bought, motivated by greed, but I am still here with no intent sell. Progress? Who would play if price doesn't go up?
