I see a representation of the space, where everyone is scurrying to hoard riches, looking only after themselves. No one is looking to build something that will benefit others. Only an infinite, unrelenting drive to hoard wealth. In a sense it's how I feel about the Masquerade-- A show and opportunity to self-enrich the few. I'm grateful to be here, but I can't forget everyone who isn't here, feeling like they aren't part of the circle -- on the outside. Sidelined. And truthfully that's where I belong.

everyone does already. different masks for different crowds, circles, and times of the day. the mask isn't really who you are it's just a way to express yourself in a given situation. You can't change completely who you are but you can surely change masks.

I like this reflection. I do think we have an overwhelming amount of 'masked' behavior vs vulnerability. We really need more of that. It allows us to connect to each other deeper. It's how we can improve and move forward. Vulnerability isn't weakness.

The stresses of being a father and provider for the family is really tough. Sometimes sacrifice is necessary, but we can't ever let anything distract us from what really matters. They are what matter, truly. Not money, not luxury. Use your time wisely.

Individuals fighting for resources but that isn't inherently selfish; It's about what those resources are used for that matter.
