100X100 VOID was born from the desire to submit my anti-crash
collection 2023 to the pressure of computational technological delirium.
If my last work 2023 exposed the intimate memory of my shots to the glitch of
my digital brush, 100 x 100 void instead exposes every identity reference
of my digital work to the risk of losing any aesthetic recognisability obtained
in these two years.
Losing to gain, gaining to lose: a matter fully in line with web3 ecosystem but
also with the mutation of biological ecosystem that nature has been silently
developing for millennia.
AI output obtained from panegyric prompts and utopian attempts to empathize
with a code organism: for me, it is all good fodder to digest an era in which
visual and stylistic renewal is experienced exasperatedly in contrast to the
idea of rebirth.
This collection is void 100x100.
All the AI processes performed on the basis of original anti-crash images,
worked on the development of prompts inspired by a single constant idea:
100X100 VOID in every single letter written to dry up the visual weight of the
matter to be exhaled away, and to let the void exasperate the image to the
point of total abstraction from data memory that constitutes it.
