I am drawn to sights that the average person does not get the opportunity to see, and I like to show people these experiences through my camera. In this case, I was visiting Hong Kong in the summer and exploring various rooftops thanks to the guidance of my friend. The buildings in Hong Kong are pretty high and over some great views of the city.
We came across this view on top of one of the buildings in the center of the city in Mong Kok. The character is what struct out the most to me. It means "to eat." As someone coming from the rural streets of Texas, this type of view left me standing in awe.
Hong Kong is a beautiful city and I wish to convey the feeling that I felt standing there on the roof through my photography. The colors, the vibrance, and the very busy city life.
